ज़िन्दगी के इस आखरी मोड़ पे तुम सब का हाफिज़ खुदा ,
मेने हंस के जी थी ज़िन्दगी अब तुम भी मुस्करा के
कहो अलविदा ,
जब आकांशा का मुस्कराता चेहरा सामने आता हे तो मानो एसा लगता हे वो ये ही कहकर गयी हमसे .
25 बर्षीय आकांशा राव पांच साल पहले पत्रकारिता में आई थी , और राजस्थान पत्रिका के सम्पादकीय विभाग में कार्यरत थी , अपने मिलनसार व्यक्तित्व, 
हंसमुख स्वाभाव और सटीक लेखन की वजह से ही आकांशा ने 5 वर्ष की अवधि में ही अपनी एक पहचान बनायीं और खुद को स्थापित किया था , वर्ष 2006 से बतोर ट्रेनी राजस्थान पत्रिका में अपने पत्रकार जीवन की शुरुआत की थी, मात्र एक वर्ष पश्चात् ही संस्थान की और से आकांश को रिअलिटी शो के कवरेज के लिए मुम्बई भेजा गया जहा उसने बखूबी अपनी प्रतिभा का लोहा मनवाया और कम समय में ही उदयपुर में अपना एक मक़ाम बना लिया , लेकिन अपने इस छोटे से जीवन में ही हमे अपने जीवन से बोहत कुछ सिखा कर अलविदा कह गयी ,
पिछले कई समय से बीमार चल रही थी , और बीती रात दुनिया से रुखसत होगई , अंतिम सफ़र में विदाई देने उदयपुर के पत्रकार जगत के सभी जाने माने पत्रकार पहुचे और सभी ने भारी मन और भीगी आँखों से अन्तिम विदाई दी ,
लेक सिटी प्रेस क्लब की तरफ से इस नन्ही पत्रकार साथी को अन्तिम सलाम और अश्रुपूरित श्रद्धांजलि
कल १ बजे लेक सिटी प्रेस क्लब में इस नन्ही पत्रकार की याद में एक शोक सभा आयोजित की जाएगी

I am sad today, I have lost my one of the best friend of college time, and we will miss her for forever,May God give her eternal rest & may her soul rest in peace! And give strength to family members to bear this irreparable loss. I can understand that death is a universal Truth so we have to accept this but, the thing which is hurting me is that why I couldn’t see her at her last time while me & two more close friends were in the same city at her last time, but we were unknown that she was fighting for life & and that time we were remembering her. She was the brilliant and witty, and we will miss her wittiness. Aakanksha you always felt that you are alone & no one is as close as you want, but just come at once and see us how we are close to you and how we are missing you. You don’t have right to leave us like this, please come back, but we know you won’t. She had attend & supported me in my all cultural & literary activities in college.
